Parkside Cardiology is a seven physician Cardiology practice located in beautiful Colorado Springs that provides comprehensive cardiovascular care to people age eighteen and older in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Our physicians have come from the nation's premier training programs to establish one of the most respected cardiology practices in Colorado. Our physicians in conjunction with our staff believe in providing the highest quality Cardiovascular Care to our patients within a compassionate and friendly setting.
At Parkside Cardiology you will find an exceptional support staff eager to care for our patients. Unlike other cardiology practices, Parkside's policy is that all patients be seen by their cardiologist during doctor's appointments and stress testing. This is our way of insuring that the highest level of care is always delivered to the patient.
All of Parkside's cardiologists are board certified in Cardiology. All interventional cardiologists are further board certified in interventional cardiology. Each of our physicians maintains staff appointments at both major hospital systems within the city. This ensures each patient that regardless of their choice of hospital Parkside's doctors will be able to provide cardiac care for them in the setting of their choice. Our physicians also maintain privileges at the near by Health South Rehabilitation Hospital as well.

Parkside Cardiology offers state of the art testing and consultations at its office. Diagnostic testing includes Vascular and cardiac ultrasound, nuclear cardiology, and 64 slice cardiac CT. Each modality is performed by the regions most highly trained and qualified technologists.
Parkside Cardiology remains a leader in cardiac care in Colorado. It is home to several firsts and notable accomplishments. Most recently our physicians have:
Performed the first carotid stenting procedure in Southern Colorado.
Established the first outpatient Cardiac CT program to use the industry best Toshiba
Aquilion 64 slice scanner.
Performed the first 64 Slice Cardiac CTA in Colorado Springs.
Maintained the lowest mortality (death) rate in 2005 for heart attack patients at
Memorial hospital for interventional cardiologists belonging to a cardiology group with
more than 3 members.
Aside from being the first in many aspects, Parkside's doctors remain Colorado Springs leading authorities in several aspects of cardiology.
Dr. Brian Metz is considered by most to be the regions expert in Echo and non-invasive
imaging.
Dr. Chad Schooley is Southern Colorado's expert on carotid stenting and remains the
only certified cardiologist to perform the procedure locally.
Dr. Michael Lenis was instrumental in bringing 64 slice Cardiac CTA to Colorado Springs
and currently remains Southern Colorado's most experienced cardiologist in the
practice of this new technique.
