After Hours
If you have an emergency after the office is closed, report to the nearest emergency room or call 911. Non-emergent calls will be taken by the after hours answering service which is staffed with registration nurses. You can reach them by calling our main telephone number 719-471-1775.
Appointments
Please call our office to schedule your appointments. We will make every effort
to get you in as soon as possible with the doctor you have chosen. If he/she is
booked, we may ask if you would be willing to see other doctors. We will contact your primary physician to be sure we are scheduling exactly the kind of appointment he/she has requested; i.e. a consultation or a certain type of test. Please bring all your medications with you. Do not put oils or lotions on your chest area.
Medication Refills
All medication refills should be handled during regular office hours. The most efficient way is to call your pharmacy first. If there is a question regarding your
prescription, the pharmacy will contact us. If you need a written prescription
for mail orders or for a military facility, please call our office but be sure to allow extra time for your request to be fulfilled.
Test Results
Patients are instructed to please call the office for test results, if
they have not been notified within a week. Depending on the
test, results are given to the patient on the
day of the test or at a follow-up visit.
Messages/Calls
All phone calls will be returned within 24 hours. Please leave an accurate
phone number, a detailed message and the best time to return the call.
